 Planning to lose weight, get fitter, eat more healthily, drink less alcohol...
How are your New Year's resolutions going?
Feel like you have failed already?

If you have been left feeling unmotivated and sluggish, now is the time to reinvigorate and get back to feeling energised and healthy - Body and Mind. This is the workshop for you!
I have designed a fully rounded two-hour 45-minute workshop, to help you focus, detox and de-stress your body, mind and spirit - moving forward into 2023 with a 'spring in your step'!

Workshop Content

 

Resolve to Evolve

1.45pm - 2pm

The workshop will start with a short talk about how traditional resolutions can often be driven by our egos, having a negative effect on our minds. This often makes us feel like we are not good enough the way we are.

Instead, we will focus on a yoga tradition which offers a refreshing alternative to a New Year’s resolution: the practice of Sankalpa.

Yoga Asana (postures) Detox Flow

2pm - 3.35pm

​

I have purposely chosen postures that cleanse and purify your internal organs (stomach, liver and intestines). The flow will also consist of invigorating poses to help build heat, directing energy up and out and encouraging detoxification in the body and cleansing of the chakras. Incorporating lots of twists to rinse out toxins and backbends to invigorate your system. We will finish with traditional Kundalini Yoga Kriyas to aid deeper detoxification.

Guided Yoga Nidra / Relaxation

3.45pm - 4.30pm

​

Yoga Nidra, meaning 'Yogic Sleep' - has been proven to effectively reduce;
Stress
Tension
Anxiety
Sleeplessness
Plus, many other psychological disorders. Yoga Nidra - the method of conscious sleep - is considered to be one of the deepest meditation techniques, leading you into a state of total stillness, insight and relaxation ~ bliss!

• Investment: £35.00

• Pre-booking required

• Methods of payment: Online Bank Transfer - Email susan@susuyoga.com (bank details sent on request), or please pay with Cash.

• Venue: Kentish Town C of E Primary School, Islip Street, London NW5 2TU

• Suitable for all levels, (but not complete beginners). Modifications will be given to more advanced and beginner students.   

• Please do not eat for at least 90 minutes before (but do not be starving).

• Bring socks and a jumper to keep you cosy and warm for the Yoga Nidra.

• Props, blankets and lavender eye pillows are provided.

• For hygienic purposes, please bring your own mat.
