Detox Your Body & Mind
Planning to lose weight, get fitter, eat more healthily, or drink less alcohol?
How are your New Year’s resolutions going?
If you’ve been feeling unmotivated and sluggish, now is the time to reinvigorate and reconnect with feeling energised and healthy -body and mind. This three-hour workshop has been thoughtfully designed to help you focus, detox and de-stress your body, mind and spirit, so you can move forward into the rest of 2026 with a real spring in your step.
What to Expect
Resolve to Evolve
We begin with a short, reflective talk exploring how traditional New Year’s resolutions are often driven by the ego. This can leave us feeling pressured, self-critical, or like we are “not good enough” just as we are.
Instead, you’ll be introduced to Sankalpa, a powerful yogic practice that offers a more compassionate and sustainable way to create change - rooted in intention, awareness, and self-acceptance rather than force or discipline.
This sets the tone for the entire workshop.
Yoga Asana – Detox Flow
A carefully designed yoga flow focusing on cleansing, revitalising, and re-energising the body.
The practice will include:
-
Postures that stimulate and purify the digestive organs (stomach, liver, intestines)
-
Heat-building, dynamic movement to encourage detoxification
-
Twists to gently “rinse out” toxins
-
Backbends to lift energy and invigorate the nervous system
-
Traditional Kundalini Yoga Kriyas to support deeper cleansing and balance
Options and modifications will be offered throughout, making this practice accessible yet effective.
(10-minute comfort break)
Guided Yoga Nidra – Deep Relaxation
We close with a deeply nourishing guided Yoga Nidra, often described as “yogic sleep.”
Yoga Nidra has been shown to help reduce:
Stress
Tension
Anxiety
Sleeplessness
This powerful method of conscious relaxation gently guides you into a state of profound stillness and rest, allowing the nervous system to reset and the body to fully absorb the benefits of the practice. Many people leave feeling calm, relaxed, grounded - and deeply restored.
